Stewardship of Talent
Every one of us has something we can do to help others. It doesn’t matter how rich or how poor we are; how smart, educated, or famous we might be. Each of us has been given at least one talent that we can use on behalf of the rest of humanity. For every skill you possess, there is a need somewhere in your family, your parish, or your city. Otherwise, we risk becoming like the servant who buried his master’s money (Matthew 25:18).
Here at St. Benilde there are many ways for you to live out Stewardship of Talent—from cooking meals through our Meal Ministry, joining the Men’s Club, helping prepare the altar linens for Mass, or volunteering with some of our children and youth ministries. We also welcome new ministries if the Lord has placed a calling on your heart.
By each of us working together and doing our part, we help complete the Body of Christ.
