DATE NIGHT AT ST. BENILDE!

St. Benilde parish invites all married couples to join us for our fall Supper and Substance--a social event designed to connect and enrich Catholic married couples. The evening will include a delicious meal cooked by our very own Fr. Matthew Johnston, wine & beer, fellowship, and an encouraging witness from presenting couple Kate and David Dawson.

Kate and David have been married for eleven years, have seven beautiful children, and currently live in Mandeville, LA. David works as Director of the Office of Marriage and Family Life for the Archdiocese of New Orleans, while Kate does the real work at home. They speak both locally and internationally on a variety of topics with a focus on faith within marriage. 

Walking the Road Together--Easier Said than Done
The best marriages are those in which a husband and wife share everything with each other. But even in the most solid of marriages, the idea of sharing the spiritual journey can seem to be too much.  David and Kate will discuss the real struggle of trying to get on the same page, and the joy of experiencing God doing real things for both of them at the same time.
